Volunteer

All AIS services are provided by volunteers.   AIS can’t exist without the generous donation of time and energy from committed individuals who believe in its mission and want to help.  AIS volunteers are from the general public and the congregations of Apex UMC, White Plains UMC, and First UMC Cary.

AIS holds volunteer training days periodically throughout the year and encourages potential volunteers to visit during one of the clinic days to see what AIS is about.   We are located on the campus of Apex UMC at 203 E. Moore St., Apex, NC  27502.

Volunteers are also encouraged to participate in a short, on-line course offered by Catholic Lega l Immigration Network (CLINIC) that provides basic information on immigration and legal issues called Fundamentals of Immigration Law.
